Run with your dog!

5K-9 Fun Run from: 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Registration begins: 7:00 a.m.
* Please register on site at DogFest 1401 Shawan Road.
Pre-entry fee is $25 per person until September 19. Registration fee after September 19 is $30 per person.
* $30 donation per participant in the 5K-9 Fun Run includes a DogFest 2008 t-shirt, dog goody bag, and all-day admission to the Bark in the Park activities, games and contests.
Fun Run Prize Categories:
- Top three runners with dogs
- First shelter dog
- Most pledge money collected by a person 20 years old or younger
- Most pledge money collected by a person 21 years old or older.
Rules:
- Limit one dog per person
- All dogs must be on leash at all times
- All dogs must be current on their vaccinations
- All dogs must be 6 months or older
- No retractable leads (Leashes up to 6' max)
- No females in season
- All dogs must be friendly to other dogs and people
- No dragging of dogs
- The race director and race veterinarian reserve the right to refuse entry or remove a dog from the course if it might prove hazardous to others or whose physical condition appears to be in jeopardy before or during the event. The race director reserves the right to change the race to a 1 1/8 mile fun run if the temperature is excessively warm.
Collecting Pledges
- You do not need sponsors in order to participate.
- If you choose to collect pledges (and we hope you do!), simply ask family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to sponsor you for the fun run or walk.
- Urge your sponsors to pledge at least $5 to make your walk worthwhile.
- Bring this form and collected pledged money to the event on October 4, 2008.
