You are invited to participate as a Vendor and/or Sponsor at the Humane Society of Baltimore County’s DogFest 2008 to be held at Shawan Downs in Hunt Valley Saturday, October 4, 2008.

DogFest 2008 will be a fun, dynamic event featuring a 5K-9 Fun Run, a fundraising pledge walk, a canine games area, educational seminars, raffles, a pet costume contest and animal related vendors from all over the metro area.

DogFest 2008 is a fund raising event to benefit the Humane Society of Baltimore County. It is a day of fun competitions and contests for dogs and their people. We anticipate 1,000 - 2,000 participants.

As a vendor you will enjoy wonderful community exposure and sales opportunities for your products and services, as well as the good feeling of knowing that you’re helping to care for the animals at the Humane Society of Baltimore County.

Important Vendor Information

Event Date: Saturday, October 4, 2008, from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm

Vendor Fees:

$150 per 10 x 10 space (bring your own tent)
No fee for 501(c)3 nonprofit groups (please attach proper ID paperwork.)

Vendor Set-up Details:

Set up hours are Friday, October 3 between 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and/or Saturday, October 4 between 5:30 am - 7:00 am.

All vendor vehicles must be off the event site and parked in an appropriate space in the parking lot no later 7:00 am on October 4. If you arrive after 7:00 am, you will need to park in the designated lot and hand carry your items to your vendor space.

Dogfest 2008 is a one day show that will take place rain or shine.

Vendor fees are non-refundable after September 15, 2008.

Vendors may not leave the event grounds before 4:30 pm.

Please bring your own display tables, chairs, and tents – unless previously arranged with DogFest 2008.

You may rent a 6 ft. table and 2 chairs from the Humane Society of Baltimore County for $30.00. Tent are avalable for $225 fee. Rentals must be ordered no later than September 15, 2008 (call 410-833-8848, ext.217 to make rental arrangements).

Portable restroom facilities are available for your use.

Refreshments may be purchased from the concession stand.

Vendors may sell/give away anything except beverages, prepared foods for people and live animals.

Animal rescue organizations may do adoptions.

Your business operations may take place only in your allotted booth space and the walkway immediately in front of your space. You may handout information to people passing by your booth.
